Why Winderlea chose to go Biodynamic® with the Dundee Hills Vineyards
Sometimes the stars align. On June 7, 1924, Rudolph Steiner gave the first of the Agricultural Lectures that would become the foundation for Biodynamic® farming. Fifty years later, Sally and Dr John Bauers planted the vineyard that we have called home for the last eighteen years. As we celebrate 50 years of what is now Winderlea Vineyard, more than a dozen of us in the Oregon wine industry are getting together on June 8, 2024, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Agricultural Course by sharing the Biodynamic® wine we each make in a strolling tasting accompanied by small bites. As is so often the case in our industry and equally so in the Biodynamic® community, we have chosen to celebrate together and we hope you’ll be able to celebrate with us. The is more information below. If you are unable to join us, we hope you’ll enjoy one of our wines to commemorate the day. More later…
