We look forward to sharing Winderlea with you. Depending on your time, interest and comfort, we offer a selection of experiences to learn more about our wines, our vineyards and our community. From Tasting Flights hosted by one of our knowledgeable Ambassadors, to a Vineyard Hike and Tasting, or perhaps a Summertime Lunch, we look forward to hosting you. Our experiences showcase Winderlea’s broad selection of single vineyard Pinot noirs as well as our white, pink and sparkling wines, when seasonally available. The proceeds from our tasting experiences are donated to ¡Salud!, the organization that provides access to healthcare and dental care services to Oregon’s vineyard stewards and their families. Because of this donation, Winderlea does not refund the tasting fee for bottle purchases. We do offer limited complimentary tastings to Winderlea Wine Society Members.

Winderlea Flights

Each flight is a delicious journey through five Winderlea wines selected each month. Winderlea focuses on elegant and age-worthy Pinot noirs and distinctive white wines which include Chardonnay, Pinot blanc and a traditional méthode champenoise style Sparkling Brut. These flight options are a wonderful introduction to the wines of Winderlea that are rarely found outside our tasting room.
FLIGHT OPTIONS
Taste of Winderlea Flight – Features the diversity of the Winderlea wines: White, Rose, & Pinot noir. Never been to Winderlea? This is your flight.
Clue Flight – This flight is poured “blind” and the staff offers “clues” to help you figuring out which wine is in which glass.
White Wine Flight – Features the great white grapes of Winderlea.
Cellar Selection Flight – This flight highlights the wines we make in small quantities or come from Winderlea’s Library.
Available Thursday through Tuesday in the tasting room. Weather permitting, balcony seating is available as well. Please allow 75 minutes for this flight.

Vineyard Garden
In late Spring and Summer, our Vineyard Garden is made up of tables, chairs and umbrellas and available for parties up to 4, to enjoy flights, lite bites, wines by the bottle or glass.
Available on Saturdays and Sundays. Allow 75 minutes for this experience.
Clue Tasting
$35 Per Person | 4 Complimentary for Members
Feeling confident in your established or newly acquired tasting skills? Then this is the flight for you. A selection of wines will be poured blind, and your group will use the guidance and “clues” of a Winderlea Ambassador, and our tasting notes, to assist you in determining which wine is in each of the 5 glasses. Leave your egos at home and have fun with this sometimes humbling deductive journey.

Bottle and Glass Service
A wonderful way to cap off a tasting at Winderlea, or perhaps the perfect way to experience Winderlea a little bit on your own. We work to hold a table or two for those who’d like to visit for a glass or bottle of wine, perhaps paired with our small bites menu. Our current flight of wines, and our Sparkling wine, are made available by the glass or bottle.
A table may be reserved for 75 minutes.

Private Curated Tasting
$600 for 1 to 6 people ($500 credit toward wine purchase included)
Hosted by the Winderlea Winegrowing Team
Searching for a personalized and intimate experience where you can explore and appreciate wines in a relaxed setting? Join Winderlea winegrowers and discover what it is you’d like to learn about winemaking, farming, tasting, and pairing wine with food. Whether you are looking to be introduced to the wine making process or want to take it to the next level, we can create a memorable experience for you and your group, including time in the vineyard as weather permits. Choose anything from grape to glass to focus on during your tasting and learn from the people that make it happen.
Please allow 2 ½ hours for this unique experience. Let us know about any dietary restrictions in the group.
A Winderlea Ambassador will contact you prior to your visit to ensure we’re making this the experience you’d like. This experience comes with a $500 dollar credit toward your wine purchase on that day.

Vineyard Hikes
$75 per person | $45 for members
Start your morning with a walk through Winderlea’s Estate and some of our adjacent neighbors in the Dundee Hills. Led by your personal Winderlea Ambassador, you’ll taste wines throughout the hike as you dive into the nuances of our vineyard and special corner of the Dundee Hills. Your hike ventures down through the Winderlea Vineyard up to the gazebo on Weber Vineyard about a mile south. The hike ends at the Winderlea tasting room for a final set of wines paired with local artisan cheeses. We suggest a light jacket and shoes you don’t mind getting some of the Dundee Hills’ famous Jory soil on.
Available on Sundays and Mondays at 9am through October 1st. Please allow 2 hours for this experience. We are unable to accommodate any pets.

SUMMER FRIDAYS AT WINDERLEA
It’s summer! Stay a little longer, grab a glass, and see who’s cooking.
Gather together with friends, family, fellow wine lovers, and members of our local wine community to soak up the sunshine on the balcony and in the wine garden. Enjoy Winderlea wines by the glass or bottle, linger a little longer, and discover a rotating lineup of chef pop-ups all summer long.
SEPTEMBER 4 – THAAN GRILL –Celebrate the end of summer with a Thaan Labor Day BBQ.
Thaan returns to Winderlea for our final Summer Friday of the season, firing up the charcoal grills for a special Labor Day weekend menu.

Tasting Policies
Pets
Due to our resident animals and our culinary program, we are unable to accommodate pets on the property.
Outside Food
We offer a delightful assortment of small food items such as tinned fish, smoked salmon, caviar, a charcuterie board and a cheese board along with non-alcoholic beverages. We do not accommodate outside food.
Children
Well mannered children are welcome at Winderlea. Children will be seated with parents at all times and must be considered into the table headcount. Our maximum table headcount is 6 (including children).
LARGE GROUPS
Groups of 6 or more require a credit card to hold the reservation. We can take cancellation up to 24 hrs in advance. If cancellation timeline is not met you will be charged for 50% of the total amount due for tasting fees. Max group size is 8. Please call to schedule.
