Tasting Flight & Fees
Our tasting flight is typically made up of 5 wines including our Chardonnay and 4 Pinot noirs. The cost of the flight is $20 and a significant portion is donated to ¡Salud!, the organization that provides healthcare services to Oregon Vineyard workers and their families. Since we opened in 2008 through 2012, we have donated over $100,000 to these services through our tasting fees. Because of this donation, Winderlea does not refund the tasting fee for bottle purchases. We do offer complimentary tastings to Winderlea Wine Club members.
We know many wine country visitors enjoy to picnic with a glass or bottle of wine. Unfortunately, due to our licensing restrictions we cannot offer glass pours or bottles of wines for consumption on our premises. Due to the size and layout of our tasting room and for the enjoyment of all of our guests, picnicking is not allowed on the Winderlea premises.
We do have many options for picnicking in the neighborhood and are happy to make recommendations. Just 1 mile down the road is Crabtree Park, a lovely little park nestled amongst vineyards with picnic tables, and even a few activities for children.
If you are looking for a winery setting, a few of our neighbors welcome picnickers and we would be happy to direct you to them.
