Hours and Available Tasting Experiences

Starting February 27th, Winderlea will be offering two tasting experiences in accordance with Oregon Guidelines. Our new outdoor, enclosed Winderlea domes are available for intimate tastings among single households, for up to four people. We are also offering limited indoor tastings for up to two households and up to four people. Reservations are required.

Tasting Flights and Fees

Winderlea offers two tasting flights each month: an Exploration Flight and a featured Library Flight. These flights showcase Winderlea’s Sparkling Brut, Chardonnay and single vineyard Pinot noirs. The cost of the Exploration Flight is $25; the cost of the Library Flight is $40. The proceeds from both of these flights are donated to ¡Salud!, the organization that provides healthcare and dentalcare services to Oregon vineyard workers and their families. Because of this donation, Winderlea does not refund the tasting fee for bottle purchases. We do offer complimentary tastings to Winderlea Wine Club members.


We know many wine country visitors enjoy to picnic with a glass or bottle of wine. Unfortunately, due to our licensing restrictions we cannot offer glass pours or bottles of wines for consumption on our premises. Due to the size and layout of our tasting room and for the enjoyment of all of our guests, picnicking is not allowed on the Winderlea premises.

We do have many options for picnicking in the neighborhood and are happy to make recommendations. Just 1 mile down the road is Crabtree Park, a lovely little park nestled amongst vineyards with picnic tables, and even a few activities for children.

If you are looking for a winery setting, a few of our neighbors welcome picnickers and we would be happy to direct you to them.

Special COVID-19 Practices for All Visitors

In an effort to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of our guests, employees, and community (and in accordance with COVID-19 Best Practices in the workplace and Oregon’s Reopening Guidelines), advance reservations are required and the maximum group size we can accommodate is 4 people from no more than 2 households. No guest exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms will be granted access to Winderlea. We will be actively maintaining protocols of at least 6 feet of physical distance among customers and Winderlea employees throughout your visit. Upon entering our parking lot we ask that you call us (503.554.5900) to coordinate your entrance with our designated host of the day. Your host will provide you with specific instructions for navigating our space in order to best manage the number of guests in our building and the preparation of your table. Please note that at this time toddlers and children are included in the maximum number of 4 guests. All children must be seated and remain at your table throughout the tasting. There are no exceptions to this requirement.

During your visit you will be hosted by a masked Winderlea Ambassador. While we know of no one who has successfully and happily tasted our wines with a mask on, we ask that you don a mask as you enter our building or if you need to leave your table during your visit. You will also notice a dedicated staff member assigned to clearing, cleaning, and disinfecting surfaces, door handles, tables, and bathrooms in order to maintain as safe an environment and experience as possible for you, our guests, and for our team.

Wine Society Member Visits

Complimentary Seated Tastings – Reservations Required
We love to host our Wine Society Members. In order to provide the very best experience for you, and to ensure your safety and that of our team members, we ask that you call and schedule a reservation prior to your visit to Winderlea so that we have a table and a host ready to serve you upon your arrival. While under COVID-19 considerations, we cannot host any guest at our front counter. We give seating priority to our members and will continue with that practice in the months to come. We offer two flights to members and their guests. Up to four Exploration Flights or two Library Flights are complimentary for members. The wines on these flights will be pre-selected and vary each month so that you can expect different wine and tastings if you visit often. At this time, the maximum number of guests we can host in a single party is 4 people from up to 2 households for indoor tastings and 4 people from a single household for Winderlea dome tastings. To make a reservation for either experience, fill out our request form here or feel free to call (503.554.5900) or email us ( if you prefer. 

Buying Wine at Winderlea

Guests are invited to purchase wine any time during our hours of operations 10am to 4pm daily. We kindly ask that you phone before stopping by. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff can always assist with recommendations from our current tasting, limited release wines, and large formats available.
