Visiting Winderlea

Hours

In an effort to ensure the health, safety and well-being of our employees, our customers, and our community at large, Winderlea’s tasting rooms in Dundee and McMinnville remain temporarily closed.

We look forward to being able to safely host you back at Winderlea in the not too distant future. For your planning purposes, we want to let you know that regardless of the status of Phase 1 in Yamhill County, Winderlea will not be open for tastings and regular guest services for Memorial Day or pre-Memorial Day weekend. In order to ensure the safest and most comfortable environment for our guests and our staff, we believe it is prudent for Winderlea to only provide retail sales with curbside pickup and local delivery through the end of May.

Curbside Pick Up | Daily 10am to 4pm
Please call ahead at 503.554.5900

We look forward to talking with you in the days and weeks ahead and to seeing you back at Winderlea in the near future. 🍷

Tasting Flight & Fees

Our tasting flight is typically made up of 5 wines including our Chardonnay and 4 Pinot noirs. The cost of the flight is $25, the proceeds from which are donated to ¡Salud!, the organization that provides healthcare and dentalcare services to Oregon vineyard workers and their families. Because of this donation, Winderlea does not refund the tasting fee for bottle purchases. We do offer complimentary tastings to Winderlea Wine Club members.

Picnicking

We know many wine country visitors enjoy to picnic with a glass or bottle of wine. Unfortunately, due to our licensing restrictions we cannot offer glass pours or bottles of wines for consumption on our premises. Due to the size and layout of our tasting room and for the enjoyment of all of our guests, picnicking is not allowed on the Winderlea premises.

We do have many options for picnicking in the neighborhood and are happy to make recommendations. Just 1 mile down the road is Crabtree Park, a lovely little park nestled amongst vineyards with picnic tables, and even a few activities for children.

If you are looking for a winery setting, a few of our neighbors welcome picnickers and we would be happy to direct you to them.

Buying Wine at Winderlea

Guests are invited to purchase wine any time during our hours of operations 10am to 4pm daily. For weekend visitors, we kindly ask that you phone before stopping by. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff can always assist with recommendations from our current tasting, limited release wines, and large formats available.

Large Group Policy

Due to our small tasting room space and our desire to provide the best experience to all of our customers and guest, we are unable to accept groups of more than 10 people. We are happy to make recommendations for other locations and experiences. For groups of 6 to 10 people, please contact us for a reservation. 503.554.5900 or tastingroom@winderlea.com. We look forward to seeing you soon!
