Sourced from the oldest vines on our estate vineyard, planted between 1974 and 1976 the Legacy is our most precious wine. Delicately garnet colored, the Legacy hits you with roses, strawberries, cherries, and a fine layer of cedar. As you drink you are enticed by the introduction of bright yet ripe cherries, cranberries, red plums, mango, dried apricot, and the mellowest Meyer lemon nose. This is a layered wine- nothing hits you overtly. It finishes elegantly and almost silky.

2012 Winderlea Ana Vineyard Pinot noir

289 Cases Produced; $48/bottle

Sold Out
Clear, bright and garnet colored.
Once again the Ana knocks us out with its fabulously floral nose.

The 2012 shows notes of violets, magnolias and lavender along with black raspberries, black cherries, mushroom and subtle forest floor. The Ana enters with spicy and earthy notes and flows easily into layers of cherries, plums, figs, rose hips, thyme, lavender and a hint of chocolate reminiscent of a cherry Tootsie Pop.

Like the Juliard, the Ana shows both a brightness and roundness beyond its years.

2012 Winderlea Crawford Beck Vineyard Pinot Noir

240 cases produced; $48/bottle

This vintage Crawford Beck is a beautifully intense color rather than the more delicately colored wine we’ve come to know. On the nose we start with savory dried herbs, lavender and fresh earth. Coupled with red fruits of cherries, cranberries, elderberries and lemon zest are very distinct notes of tea, clove, coriander, coffee and clove. There is wonderful acid in this wine that finishes in the most seductively subtle and sinewy way making you want to come back for more. Start drinking upon release or cellar through 2024.

McMinnville AVA

2012 Winderlea Meredith Mitchell Vineyard Pinot noir

187 Cases Produced; $48/bottle

Sold Out
Don’t be surprised by the almost Syrah like color of this Pinot noir. We are now in the McMinnville AVA where depth of color is a signature element. This wine even smells purple and seduces you with blackberries, blueberries and huckleberries all up front. But this wine goes beyond the fruit with herbal notes of anise, thyme, sage and lavender and even hints of tobacco. We have also noted almost briny components that keep the wine fresh and alluring. Start drinking in 2015 and cellar through 2029.
