Our second vintage is another hit and honestly, what did we do before we made this wine? Bright and perfumed with notes of crisp pink lady and green apples, citrus zest and a touch of brioche or pie crust. On the palate the tiny bubbles are exuberant and create a lively mouthfeel for the layers of citrus, apple, cream and brioche.

2016 Winderlea Vintage Sparkling Brut

Our inaugural sparkling wine is everything we could have hoped for. The nose is abundant and generous- aromas of fresh brioche and pear blossom seem to harmonize with bright orange and lemon curd while notes of honey, toasted hazelnuts, clove, and wood spice drift in the background. The palate teems with flavors of white raspberry, white currant, quince and a touch of bramble bound up with layers of almond paste and perfectly balanced acidity. A sure sign of good things to come.
