2012 Winderlea Ana Vineyard Pinot noir
2012 Winderlea Ana Vineyard Pinot noir
We have been working with the Ana vineyard since our first vintage in 2006. Now known as Weber, the wines from this site have been beloved for over ten years.
The floral nose of violets, magnolias and lavender remain vibrant upon Ana’s 10th year. Earth notes of spice, mushroom and forest floor combine beautifully with plum, cherries, fig, and rose hips. We’ll be drinking this over the holidays, but believe it will cellar well through 2027.

2012 Winderlea Vineyard
Pinot noir
2012 Winderlea Vineyard Pinot noir
Our estate vineyard, originally planted in 1974, is comprised of 16 planted acres of Pinot noir. Our flagship wine, Winderlea Vineyard Pinot noir, exemplifies what this stunning site is all about.
Vibrant aromatics continue to be a hallmark of the 2012 Winderlea Vineyard at 10 years. Black cherries, plum and red and black currants mingle with hints of cedar, baking spices and orange zest in the mouth. Perfectly rounded tannins and acidity deliver a wonderfully balanced simply exquisite finish. Drinking beautifully and cellar potential through 2027.

2012 Winderlea Legacy Pinot noir
2012 Winderlea Legacy Pinot noir
Our estate vineyard in the Dundee Hills is comprised of 13 different blocks planted across 16 acres. The Legacy, our most precious wine, is an exclusive selection of own-rooted Pinot noir sourced from vines planted between 1974 and 1976.
The 2012 was the prettiest of our wines at release, and continues to show those same characteristics. Rose, strawberries, and cherries on the nose couple with red plums, cranberries, mango and citrus notes. Elegant and silky when released in 2013 and age has mellowed it perfectly. There is also a freshness to it now, that we don’t recall upon release.
Drinking divinely ~ and should cellar thru 2030 (but why wait!)
