In trying times I am always buoyed by seeing how our fellow humans reach out to one another. How people who have lost jobs are spending what money they have to help others who are less fortunate. So many of you are doing such good in the world right now. It is needed and appreciated. At the same time some things continue as usual. Our vineyards are still being farmed. Last week we completed our barrel compost spray and over the weekend our 500, Cowhorn manure tea. These are the first Biodynamic sprays of our season and they coincide with the heightened microbial activity in our soils. Driving through the mustard flowers in my RTV sprayer, the sights of Spring, the flowers, the insects, and the birds, give me optimism for the time ahead. We’re dedicated to keeping all of our employees working, so these sprays were performed by 2 of our Tasting Room Ambassadors (Allison and Sonig).
