Noted for its intense purple in color, Murto is a sheltered, southwest facing vineyard at the west end of the Dundee Hills that never fails to compel us by its extraordinary aromatics and structure.
Aromas of freshly baked marionberry pie introduce the 2016 Murto Vineyard Pinot noir. The dense scent of lingonberry is steeped in tarragon and French lavender followed by a mélange of fresh and dried roses. The palate is structured and dark with cocoa and leather underscoring sharp red fruits and spicy black pepper.
