2016 marks our final bottling from Adelsheim’s Bryan Creek Vineyard in the Chehalem Mountains. The wine shows bountiful aromas and a lush palate. The nose opens with notes of toffee, salted caramel, and toast. These are quickly superseded by blackberry syrup, cedar, and thyme. Dark, forest characters continue onto the palate where they are joined by a hint of capsicum and spearmint and are rounded out by sweet espresso, chocolate covered cherries and a round, full mouthfeel.
