Imprint is in!  That’s the headline from Tuesday at Winderlea.  We harvested the fruit from our estate vineyard that becomes our whole cluster Imprint Pinot noir.  We have consistently used the same two blocks from Winderlea Vineyard, block 7 which is a selection of Pinot noir known as Coury in Oregon (our first few vintages came just from this block) and block 10, a 2005 planting of Pommard, perhaps

the selection that has come to define Oregon Pinot noir.  This year I had help from Candace Parker, one of our more recent Tasting Room Ambassadors who followed her love of the grape from Florida to Oregon.  We received enough fruit for about 250 cases of a 2018 vintage and we’re excited to see how it evolves.  In the meantime, we’re counting the months until the 2016 is released. – Bill Sweat, Proprietor
