2013 Winderlea Legacy Pinot Noir
174 cases produced
Sourced exclusively from original, own-rooted vines on the Winderlea Vineyard, these 1974 plantings show what a difference vine age can make. With the silkiest of textures, the 2013 Legacy leads with heady aromatics of ripe strawberry, currant, and orange peel. The palate begins brightly with cranberry and dusty rose, transitioning into darker notes of dried thyme, dried mushrooms and lavender. Mid-palate shows forest floor, blackberry and sweet and sour cherries leading into a soft and delicate finish.
