2011 Winderlea Ana Vineyard Pinot noir
142 Cases Produced
The nose on the Ana is a bit old world with notes of strawberry fruit leather, moss, coffee, and flame-kissed maple wood. These are coupled with lovely hibiscus flower, cranberry and its always distinctive violet note. In the mouth the Ana shows juicy strawberries, a wonderful cherry component ranging from cherry cola to Flathead Lake cherries of Montana, ripe fig and touches of earthiness and allspice. The Ana finishes round and satisfying. As with all of the 2011s, the Ana will benefit with additional cellaring and should reward for 5 to 8 years.
