The Carabella Vineyard is located in the newly designated Chehalem Mountain AVA – also in Oregon’s northern Willamette Valley. Carabella sits on the southeast side of Parrett Mountain with elevations of 500 – 600 feet. The soils are gravelly volcanic, Nekia, Saum and Jory. We purchased the Dijon 76 Chardonnay clone for our bottling.

2014 Winderlea Weber Vineyard Pinot noir
95 Points - Cellar Selection
For 2014, the Weber is the star of a very fine Winderlea lineup. Dark and deeply concentrated, it's jammed with black cherry fruit, annotated with anise and showing a hint of gunmetal. The tannins are ripe and taste of clean earth. This is a fine candidate for aging. Drink now through 2030. (Wine Enthusiast – Paul Gregutt)
